Rebecca Swanberg

Rebecca Swanberg is a fiction and nonfiction writer from Washington State. She holds a BA in creative writing from Bard College and an MFA from the University of Montana, where she taught composition and creative writing. Currently living in Brooklyn, NY, Rebecca is working on her first novel. She is on the faculty of the Bard Language and Thinking Program, teaches writing and personal essay with the Bard Prison Initiative and Bard Microcollege, and is an advisor with the Bard Microcollege at Brooklyn Public Library. In addition to writing, she loves to read, horseback ride, sing, hike, practice yoga, and rock climb.
